About Hope House Recovery

Care that looks at the whole picture.

Built from personal experience and a relentless curiosity about how the body works, Hope House is a small studio with a big belief: people deserve better answers than “just live with it.”

Why we began

When the usual answers didn’t help, we chose to keep learning. That means combining science-backed research with intentional treatments—and staying close to the person, not just the symptom.

From our home treatment rooms in Dunstable, we work with people carrying pain from poor posture, chronic muscle tension, hard training, and the unresolved things that add up over time.

The goal is practical: move better, feel stronger, and leave with a clearer idea of what your body needs next.

Wing Wong

Biochemistry & performance

Wing is a highly knowledgeable polymath whose expertise spans advanced biochemistry, nutrition, sport science and functional medicine. He has worked with people on underlying metabolic and lifestyle factors, helping them make sense of their health and make real, practical changes. A research scientist at heart, he will over-analyse everything — exactly why the plans here are built on evidence rather than guesswork. He is also a great family man and a teacher, generous in explaining complex things simply.

Zoe Wong

Coaching & practical recovery

Zoe is a Personal Trainer, sports massage therapist, Pilates instructor, and a British tai chi champion in sword and barehand forms. She is a mum of three, with two minimally assisted home births, and was back to work within two to four weeks each time. Her focus is fast recovery, holistic coaching, natural remedies and practical results that make sense in the middle of real life.

What guides us

We identify as Christians, and our faith is core to everything we do. It shapes how we treat people: with honesty, care and respect, and a belief that every person matters.

Common questions

Good to know.

Clear answers before you take the next step. If your question is not here, bring it to the consultation.

What happens in the free consultation?

It is a free 15-minute conversation about what is happening, what you want to get back to, and which next step may fit. We will listen to your goals, talk through your routine and recovery history, and explain the options that may be suitable.

What happens in a Recovery Blueprint session?

The Recovery Blueprint is a paid 45-minute diagnostic of your goals, current habits and roadblocks, with practical recommendations and a personalised plan. The £50 fee is fully redeemable against any HBOT package. It is separate from the free 15-minute consultation.

Is HBOT safe, and who is it not suitable for?

HBOT is not suitable for everyone. Suitability screening applies before any session, and medical clearance may be needed. We will talk through your circumstances and may advise that it is not suitable. HBOT is wellness and recovery support, not a substitute for medical advice or treatment.

How many sessions will I need?

There is no single number. It varies by person, goals, routine, suitability, and how you respond. We will discuss a sensible starting point and review what you notice over time.

Will the treatments hurt, especially deep tissue massage?

Massage pressure can feel strong, especially with deep tissue work, but it should stay within a level you can communicate about. Tell us if something feels too much. Other sessions are discussed clearly before you begin.

What should I expect on my first visit?

You will have time to explain what is going on and what you want to change. We will talk through suitability, look at relevant movement or recovery factors where appropriate, and agree the next step. Treatment rooms are at our home address in Dunstable: Allen Close, Dunstable, Bedfordshire, LU5 4DG.

Are results guaranteed?

No. Individual results vary and no outcome is guaranteed. We will be clear about what we know, what we are trying, and what to review as you go.

Is massage and posture work suitable for complete beginners as well as athletes?

Yes, both can be discussed for beginners, active people, and athletes. You do not need to arrive knowing the right words or already following a training plan. We start with the person in front of us.

Can you support pregnancy, post-partum, post-surgery, or ongoing medical conditions?

Possibly, depending on your circumstances and the support being considered. Suitability screening applies, and medical clearance may be needed. Bring the relevant information so we can discuss what is appropriate within our scope.

How do I book, and what happens after I book?

Start with the free 15-minute consultation. The Recovery Blueprint is an optional next step at £50: a paid 45-minute session whose fee is fully redeemable against any HBOT package. The team can discuss whether it is right for you.

Are vouchers and packages available?

Package and voucher availability can change, so ask us when you enquire and we will confirm the current options.
